Mrs Tina Allen

Hello, my name is Tina Allen,

At Glenthorne, I am a Teaching Assistant.

I am married and have a son. I lived in Switzerland for over 16 years and worked as a Suisse qualified teacher in a private international school. I am fluent in French and have a working knowledge of several other languages as well as level 8 in Makaton.

I was a competitive gymnast and a Staffordshire County gymnastic coach. I also competed in international and national martial arts and coached it. Nowadays, I love quilting and Zumba.

I love Glenthorne for the approach to seeing the pupils as a whole package, where pupils can thrive and succeed in a safe, caring environment.

I worked for a decade as a dental nurse before working in schools. I'm happy with my life choices and wouldn't change my fate or be anywhere or anything else.
