Nursery Information

In Nursery, we promote our school's five key phrases: independence, collaboration; tolerance and respect; resilience and high expectations. We also believe that children learn best through active learning, including play and adventure, and promote an ethos of exploration and investigation. On Wednesdays, children participate in 'Welly Wednesday', which gives the children time to explore our forest area and learn about nature. Our Nursery pupils are also involved in main school events such as whole school themed days, charity days, assemblies and sports events. Our Nursery is structured similar to Reception, enabling a smooth transition to the rest of their school life.
