Mr Hughes MSM

My name is Darren Hughes and at Glenthorne I am the Senior Site Technician.

Prior to this role I was a W01 in the Royal Navy for 37 Years. I have travelled extensively and taken part in the Iraq War. I was also awarded an MSM on the Queens Birthday Honours list.

My hobbies are metal detecting, cycling and entering competitions.

I enjoy interacting with the pupils and explaining the jobs that need doing are school.

When I retire I am moving to Spain with my wife Joanne, who also works at Glenthorne.
