Miss Simpson

My name is Ellie Simpson. At Glenthorne, I am a Year 5 Teacher.

I have a degree in Primary Education, specialising in Science and P.E. I went to Edge Hill University in Lancashire.

I was a competitive dancer from 8-18 years old, however, I’m a little old for that now. I often spend my weekends playing with my gorgeous niece and cooking with my family.

One of the things I really like about Glenthorne is the team spirit! Everybody, staff and pupils, want the best for each other and are willing to help out where possible.

My favourite subject when I was at school was P.E, as I loved getting involved in the school sports teams.

If I wasn’t a teacher, I would be a sports or dance coach.
