Parent Governor

Hi, I am Nikki Rolls and I am currently a Parent Governor as I have a son at Glenthorne.

I have worked in both public and private sector business for over 20 years covering a multitude of sectors ensuring I have a wealth of knowledge in supporting business economic growth.  I have linked with both primary and secondary schools to deliver and encourage civic pride of place. I have a thorough understanding of school policies and processes, and have a successful record of project delivery with local schools in the Walsall area. I have 15 years’ experience with working in the voluntary sector supporting project delivery and civic pride initiatives, this includes being an active member of community organisations, charities and not for profit organisations. I have been a secretary, a treasurer and a vice chair in the past and understand the needs of the role to be accomplished. I have also been a CEO reporting to a board of directors ensuring their decision making on issues and projects is able to be conducted based on the facts and details needed for a decision to be made. I am passionate about education and how this impacts the next generation and I believe that a school provides the basic foundation steps to encourage and inspire our children to be the next leaders of the future.
