My name is Leanne Bridgwood. At Glenthorne, I am the Headteacher and I am responsible for Whole School Development, Health and Safety, Special Needs, Assessments and Progress.
I have two children called Annalise and Reece and a husband called Gavin. I have met David Beckham and Mohammed Al Fayed on a trip to Harrods (although they probably would not remember me). My favourite film is Sixth Sense and one day I want to be able to play the piano and fly a plane, but not at the same time! I would love to go on an African Safari and to see the Northern Lights.
I enjoy watching football, particularly Aston Villa Football Club. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I like going to concerts and shows. I look forward to holidays abroad for a chance to catch up on my reading but in the near future we would like to go skiing, so not much reading on that holiday. I love dancing and often get talked into being part of the shows my children act out.
One of the things I really like about Glenthorne is that every day is different and we all enjoy our learning together.
My favourite subject when I was at school was Maths as I loved thinking about things logically and finding an answer.
If I wasn't a teacher I would be a news reporter or a lawyer.
